Head of School Evaluation Department (a)

Together with your six-member team, you contribute in the role of Head of School Evaluation Department (a) to effective quality assurance and development of public schools in the Canton of Lucerne and provide schools with impulses for the further development of school and teaching quality.

• You lead the school evaluation department both professionally and personally and represent the department externally.
• You are responsible for planning and organizing external school evaluations and also independently conduct evaluations.
• Together with your team of subject matter experts, you ensure the further development of the evaluation process as well as the methods and instruments of external evaluation.
• In this role, you collaborate with other departments and divisions of the Public School Education Office.

• You have school leadership/management training and/or a university degree in education, psychology, or a comparable qualification. Ideally, you bring several years of teaching experience.
• You have completed recognized training in evaluation or quality management and/or have several years of experience in external evaluations.
• You have previously gained leadership experience and lead your team with a clear, appreciative attitude.
• You are methodically skilled, present convincingly, and communicate confidently both in writing and orally – you are open, humorous, cooperative, and bring solid knowledge of the Swiss public school education system.
