Ensuring electricity in Switzerland
In this exciting role, you take responsibility for procurements for construction projects and represent this topic as an ambassador within purchasing and across departments. As a Procurement Manager, you are responsible for your product groups and ensure close coordination with internal stakeholders to jointly achieve defined strategic and operational goals. Your further tasks include:
- Planning, coordinating, and accompanying procurement projects for complex construction projects in German (and ideally Italian or French) under strict compliance with public procurement law (BöB/VöB) and internal guidelines
- Shaping the standardization and optimization of construction tenders
- Reviewing and optimizing requirements in close collaboration with project managers and asset management to ensure timely and market-appropriate procurement of the highest quality
- Continuously analyzing and monitoring procurement markets, identifying opportunities and risks to ensure long-term supply security and cost efficiency
- Developing and implementing effective procurement strategies in exchange with specialists while actively anticipating market and industry developments
- Managing and optimizing the supplier portfolio through targeted performance and risk assessments to sustainably guarantee quality, deadlines, and costs
- Confidently managing claim management and coordinating collaboration with the legal department and all relevant stakeholders regarding additional claims
- Actively shaping and developing contract management and sustainability standards with the relevant purchasing departments
- Actively contributing to the further development of Procurement & Claim Management – e.g., by initiating or leading development projects focused on resilience, cost-effectiveness, and digitalization

- You have a degree in engineering or business administration, complemented by further training or experience in purchasing, construction, or project management
- You have experience in carrying out construction procurements, ideally in the public sector – including contract design – or bring comparable experience from a relevant environment
- You present yourself confidently, are resilient, and strong in communication. Persuasiveness and assertiveness are among your strengths
- Experience in developing procurement strategies and knowledge of procurement law (BöB/VöB) are advantageous; knowledge in supplier management is a plus
- Experience with clients in the public infrastructure sector or knowledge of the SIA standards is a plus
- You are proficient in MS Office and quickly adapt to new systems such as SAP
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form are required
- Very good Italian skills (level B2) are a valuable advantage, while additional knowledge of French ideally rounds off your profile
