Join our Finance Transformation Consulting team and help our clients successfully manage global challenges.
Our Deloitte Finance Transformation consultants provide support from finance strategy definition and target operating model transformation to tool evaluation, solution design implementation for business clients. They determine clients' business needs, create customized and integrated solutions, leveraging the latest technological solutions.
How you can make an impact
- As a Manager/Senior Manager in Finance Transformation for Insurance clients, you will:
- Spearhead ERP/EPM-enabled finance transformation initiatives for insurance clients, including ERP/EPM assessment / Phase 0, also leveraging leading platforms to optimise finance processes and reporting
- Lead and deliver end-to-end finance transformation projects focused on the future of finance, including the design and implementation of Finance Strategy and Target Operating Models definition and implementation of performance steering models
- Drive Day 1 readiness activities in post-merger integration context to ensure seamless finance operations and compliance from day one following mergers or acquisitions
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and technology partners to integrate advanced finance solutions, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives
- Advise clients on finance strategy, process optimisation, and technology adoption to enhance decision-making, performance management, and value creation
- Drive business development activities with the team
Who we are looking for
- You hold a university degree in Finance, Actuarial, Business, IT, or related field
- You bring at least 7 years of experience in Insurance Finance, and have worked on in an internal role in finance, actuarial or risk teams in (re-)insurance company and/or have consulting experience in Finance Strategy definition, finance transformation, ideally with exposure to ERP/EPM-enabled finance projects, strategy design, Target Operating Model design and integration readiness in (re-)insurance industry
- You have a strong understanding of finance processes including accounting, controlling, consolidation, planning/FP&A and reporting
- You possess excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
- You are fluent in English (German is an advantage), with a willingness to travel within Switzerland and internationally
- Experience working with leading ERP and finance technology platforms is highly desirable
- Experience in Financial Services (Insurance or Reinsurance context) and/or consulting experience gained within a Big Four firm or a leading consulting market player in (re-)insurance industry is desirable
