Project Position Social Counseling

Establishment of a new, city-wide social counseling limited to three years.

Your tasks within the project position

• You support the church communities in complex individual case management and ensure professionalism, expertise, and intervision
• You coach and advise social deacons in the church communities
• You develop standards and procedures (e.g., initial interview, file management, data protection)
• You actively network with municipal, church, and private partners
• You promote knowledge and practice transfer between the communities
• You participate in financing models and fundraising
• You strengthen inclusive community work together with social diakonia and volunteers

The environment

• You work in a well-supported pilot project with high visibility. A steering group supports you, regular evaluations ensure quality and development

What you bring with you

• Degree in social work or equivalent qualification
• Several years of experience in social counseling, ideally with coaching/project reference
• Enjoyment in designing and building new structures
• Independence, communication skills, and networking competence
• Interest in church-diaconal work and volunteer work
• Sensitivity for local structures – and at the same time the view for the whole
