Job Description
As Production Engineer Positioning Modules you are a part of a team providing production support for u-blox module manufacturing. The primary responsibility is to help maintain efficient manufacturing processes and minimize inefficiencies. This position involves collaboration with Engineering and Testing teams across multiple sites, as well as the Quality, Logistics departments, and Electronic Manufacturing Services.
Your Responsibilities
Provide production support and act as a technical interface for EMS Continuous Production Monitoring Yield optimization, support to yield improvement programs by using analytics to drive key success metrics related to yield management Data analysis of large datasets, performing ad-hoc statistical analysis and presenting the results of analysis to multi-site teams Collaborate with multi-site teams to develop and implement data management, analytics systems, and workflows Assist with production flow ramp-up and ongoing operations at EMS Contribute to the definition of production test specifications and concepts Address production non-conformities and support failure analysis processes
Your Skills and Experience
BSc. degree in Electronic Engineering Experience with data analysis, including extracting, preparing, and interpreting data using statistical methods Comfortable managing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality datasets from diverse sources Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python or similar) is an advantage Familiarity with database systems, including querying and integrating data with other tools Experience working with deployment, scaling, and optimization of machine learning and AI models in production environments on AWS is considered beneficial Effective communication and presentation skills Ability to work independently with attention to detail Proficiency in written and spoken English Willingness to travel (less than 10%) Hold a valid work permit for Switzerland or EU-citizenship
