In the interest of employees and companies, the Office for Labor (AFA) contributes to strengthening the location Zurich. The labor market policy competencies are bundled in the AFA. Around 650 employees work at over 20 locations. The Unemployment Fund (ALK) is a service organization of the Office for Labor (AFA). The ALK's mandate is to clarify entitlement as well as to calculate and pay unemployment insurance (ALV) benefits. To strengthen the existing unemployment compensation team (ALE) at the Leonardo location in Oerlikon, we are looking for a committed specialist to start immediately or by arrangement.
Your tasks:
- Benefit verification and calculation of unemployment compensation
- Preparation of first-instance decisions
- Correct and prompt payment of unemployment compensation
- Ensuring legally compliant AVIG implementation
- Handling daily business with own case files
- Providing telephone and written information to our customers
- Service-oriented and competent advice to all stakeholders
- Handling complex cases in the areas of disability insurance (IV), employer-like status (AgäS), self-employed (SE), in case of doubts about claims from employment contracts (Art. 29 AVIG), coordination with other social insurances (Art. 28 AVIG)
Your profile:
- Completed 3-year commercial basic training or equivalent commercial education
- Many years of professional experience in AVIG implementation
- Completed further training in social insurance is an advantage
- Process-oriented, efficient, decisive, and a pronounced flair for numbers
- Strong teamwork skills
- Confident and networked thinking as well as pronounced perseverance in handling complex case constellations
- Curious about legal issues and open to new things
- Very good oral and written German skills
