The Directorate of Economic Affairs of the Canton of Zurich (www.vd.zh.ch) oversees the Office for Labor, the Office for Economy, the Office for Mobility, as well as administratively the Zurich Transport Network (ZVV).
In the interest of employees and companies, the Office for Economy (AWI) contributes to strengthening the location Zurich. With its around 120 employees, the AWI bundles economic competencies. The areas of location promotion, work permits, working conditions, and economics are located here. The Finance & Controlling department in the AWI staff provides a wide range of services for the Office for Economy and the Office for Labor (AFA).
Are you experienced in financial accounting of complex organizations and able to take responsibility? We are looking for a committed specialist with experience in general and subsidiary ledgers as well as a confident eye for processes and contexts – especially in dealing with parallel accounting of both offices and SECO.

Your tasks:
- Ensuring correct bookkeeping with monthly and annual financial statements according to the requirements of the canton and SECO
- Controlling tasks can be expanded depending on the applicant's profile
- Organizational and professional development of accounting
- Process responsibility for the defined ICS processes as well as execution of ICS controls
- Preparation and support of audits (audit and in-depth controls of the financial control, SECO audit ALK and RAV/LAM/KAST)
Your profile:
- Completed further education with a professional certificate in finance and accounting with 5+ years of professional experience in a comparable function
- SAP knowledge FI/CO, AA, SD, KR
- Administrative experience is an advantage
- Team orientation, networked thinking, service orientation as well as decisiveness
- Integrative and result-oriented personality with interest in cross-departmental collaboration
