- EEPB65
- The EEPB, attached to the SPNE, is a high-security closed detention facility. It is responsible for the execution of sentences and measures for detainees with varied profiles. It is particularly specialized in long-term reception, behavioral development research, and preparation for release. It also focuses on intervention in complex situations or those involving psychiatric disorders.
- As a detention officer, you supervise detainees, respecting the regulations and security measures in force within the facility. Daily, you oversee detainees during walks, visits, as well as cultural and leisure activities. By facilitating the relationships of incarcerated persons with the outside world, you play an essential role by actively contributing both to their social development and reintegration, while respecting their fundamental rights. Finally, exchanges with various partners are an integral part of your duties, which are performed according to varied schedules, including night and weekend shifts.
- Holder of a CFC or an equivalent recognized qualification, you are at least 25 years old. Experience in the security field, as well as excellent physical fitness, are assets (tests and a medical examination may be required as part of recruitment). Equipped with a true team spirit, you demonstrate openness, active listening, and discernment, including in managing conflict situations. Your natural authority allows you to enforce rules confidently while embodying a model of exemplary behavior. Your social skills lead you to show empathy while maintaining the necessary professional distance. You also have a good command of the French language and are comfortable with common computer tools. Prerequisites: residence in Switzerland; category B driving license; clean criminal record and debt enforcement register extract. As part of your job, you will follow the basic training leading to the federal detention officer certificate at the Swiss Competence Center for Penal Sanctions Execution (CSCSP) in Fribourg and will be sworn in.
