Welcome to the fascinating world of taxes! The cantonal tax office collects taxes for the federal government, the canton, and the municipalities in conjunction with the municipal tax offices. We support individuals and businesses throughout the tax collection process. Around 800 qualified employees are committed to this at our location in Zurich Altstetten.
In the inheritance department, the assessment of inheritance and gift tax, as well as the assessment of ordinary taxes related to death cases, is carried out. You can further specialize in tax law and rely on a competent network for questions. We are looking for the right reinforcement for our team immediately or by arrangement.
Your area of responsibility:
- Review and assessment of tax returns from deceased persons
- Assessment of inheritance and gift taxes, including the preparation and control of property and business valuations
- Assessment of supplementary wealth taxes
- Processing of ruling requests
- Professional contact person for inquiries from heirs, heir representatives, and executors, as well as professional advice to the assigned municipal tax offices
- Representation of the canton of Zurich in legal proceedings
Your profile:
- Several years of experience in the field of taxes and/or higher vocational training in finance and accounting, fiduciary services, or as a business economist HF, or successfully completed bachelor's degree, ideally in business administration or law, or similar qualifications are an advantage
- Independent and responsible working style as well as high decision-making and analytical skills
- Convincing appearance and empathy
- Very good written and oral communication skills in German
