Specialist in University Development 80 - 100%
Would you like to actively participate in projects related to university and quality development as well as institutional university research? Then you are exactly right with us!
Department: Rectorate
Start of work: Immediately or by arrangement
As a Specialist in University Development, you actively participate in projects related to university and quality development as well as institutional university research and take on the management of subprojects in these areas. You contribute to decision-making bases in the form of concepts, analyses, and research for the Rector and university management and independently conduct surveys and evaluations using qualitative and quantitative methods. You prepare the results appropriately for the target audience and present them internally. In addition, you collect and interpret knowledge in the university sector and thus contribute to the continuous and evidence-based development of ZHAW. Furthermore, you build internal and external networks in the field of university development.
You have a master's degree, preferably in the field of social sciences, and bring solid knowledge and experience in qualitative as well as quantitative research. Initial insights into the Swiss, European, and international university landscape as well as into university policy issues are assumed. Knowledge in innovation management is also an advantage: you have initial experience in recognizing trends, interpreting them for a specific context, and helping to shape their further development. Experience in teaching or research (also as an assistant or tutor) at the university level is also desired. You have project management skills and are characterized by analytical thinking as well as the ability to understand complex relationships and translate them into viable solutions. Entrepreneurial thinking, creativity, and a positive attitude towards change are among your strengths, as is a structured and efficient way of working. Personally, you convince through teamwork, resilience, assertiveness, and the ability to motivate colleagues and actively maintain networks. With your clear and target-group-appropriate communication, you succeed in presenting complex content understandably and convincingly.
