This specialized position offers a central role in the organization and patient care within the Department of Soft Tissue and Tumor Surgery:
- Coordination and planning of procedures and special examinations
- Conducting cancer pre- and follow-up consultations under medical supervision
- Support of clinical studies in the field of tumor surgery (patient inclusion, scheduling,
- Documentation of patient data as well as communication with pet owners and referring veterinarians
- Maintaining the database for tumor patients
- Participation and organization of interdisciplinary tumor boards
- Active shaping of efficient clinical processes Requirements
- Completed training as a veterinary practice assistant
- Training as VASTA or experience in performing simple anesthesias
- Experience or interest in surgery/oncology and clinical organization
- Strong organizational skills and enjoyment of appointment coordination
- Interest in clinical research
- High motivation, flexibility, and resilience in a dynamic environment
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Teamwork skills, social competence, and service-oriented thinking
