Your tasks

• Responsibility for business development in the grinding sector
• Implementation of the corporate strategy in the target segment Grinding
• Analysis of market and technology trends as well as development, maintenance and further development of the grinding segment strategy
• Derivation and implementation of concrete measures for market development and to achieve the defined growth targets
• Central interface function between global Business Development Managers (BDMs) and the relevant HQ departments
• Planning, control and monitoring of projects and initiatives in a matrix organization
• Leading the international project team
• Ensuring efficient coordination between market and HQ including systematic lessons-learned management
• Preparation of market, project and performance analyses as well as regular reporting to the division management

Your profile

• Completed studies in mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology or a comparable technical field (TS/FH/UNI)
• Further training in business administration, strategy or business development
• Several years of professional experience in grinding technology or manufacturing technology
• Proven success in segment development or business development in the B2B environment
• Solid experience in project management as well as coordination within a matrix organization
• Very good technical understanding of grinding processes, cooling lubricant technologies and industrial production processes
• Very good German and English skills; additional foreign languages are an advantage
• Willingness to travel about 10–20% for internal coordination and international meetings
