We are looking for a mechanical engineering intern to complement our team and further develop our production processes with new ideas and technical know-how.
What is this role about?
Do you enjoy developing technical solutions that improve everyday production? Would you like to work with modern technologies such as 3D printing? Are you excited to apply lean methods practically and make real changes?
Then you can expect an internship with us where you can contribute your ideas, take responsibility, and actively help optimize our manufacturing.
What tasks will you take on?
You will:
- Design and specifically optimize fixtures for production.
- Develop and produce innovative 3D printed parts yourself.
- Independently plan and implement optimization projects in production.
- Apply lean methods such as 5S and Kaizen to make processes more efficient.
What do we expect from you?
You:
- Are studying mechanical engineering or a comparable course of study, ideally from the 5th semester onwards.
- Ideally have a focus on development & design – not mandatory.
- Have initial experience in producing 3D printed parts.
- Speak fluent German and communicate clearly and structured.
- Are proficient with MS Office and CAD software (Creo is a plus).
- Are curious, solution-oriented, and enjoy working independently.
