Pediatric occupational therapist at the Nursing Directorate
The Nursing Directorate is looking for a pediatric occupational therapist at an 80% activity rate within the framework of a fixed-term contract of 5 months to replace a maternity leave.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, the CHUV plays a leading role in the fields of medical care, medical research, and training.
The CHUV Occupational Therapy Service has 46 occupational therapists. It contributes to the three main missions of the CHUV: care services, training, and research. It includes different units (ESAR, Hand Center, pediatrics, neuro-rehabilitation, geriatrics).
Mission
You provide occupational therapy care to children and adolescents in outpatient pediatrics (assessment, treatment, positioning, equipment, parent group, FIT program)
- You are called upon to assess and guide patients in this process.
Profile
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy or an equivalent recognized title
You have a particular interest in working with newborns, children, and adolescents
You have knowledge or experience in pediatrics, an asset
You have knowledge of care networks and the legislative and insurance system related to the health sector
You demonstrate good integration skills and appreciate working in an interdisciplinary team
You show flexibility, adaptability, and autonomy.
The salary scale is between 8 and 9, depending on the candidate’s profile.
