Assistant psychologist at the Liaison Psychiatry Unit
The Department of Psychiatry is looking for an assistant psychologist at 80%, from May 1, 2026 to April 30, 2027, at the Liaison Psychiatry Unit of the Adult Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Service North (SPPAN).
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Liaison Psychiatry Unit (UPL) is recognized as a postgraduate training site in psychiatry and psychotherapy, in outpatient category A, as well as for the entire advanced training in consultation and liaison psychiatry (2 years).
The UPL's mission is to provide outpatient and inpatient consultation-liaison activities (adult and elderly patients) in the main somatic hospitals of Northern Vaud: the eHnv of Yverdon, St-Loup and Orbe, the intercantonal hospital of Broye in Payerne, and the acute care hospital of Ste-Croix.
Mission
- You are responsible for first-line psychiatric and interdisciplinary care of hospitalized or outpatient patients at the eHnv of Yverdon, particularly within the framework of the emergency response mandate of the Regional Health Pole (PRS) attached to the DGS
- You are responsible for drafting various clinical and administrative documents
- You participate in training activities provided within the framework of the UPL/SPPAN/DP-CHUV.
Profile
- You have practical therapeutic experience in adult psychiatric settings
- You have an interest in the field of eating disorders and the psychosomatic approach in general
- You have good aptitude for interdisciplinary teamwork and networking
- You have knowledge of classical psychopathology
- You are enrolled in a training program for obtaining the federal psychotherapy title
- For non-French speakers, you have at least a B2 level in French (certificate required).
