Assistant Psychologist at the Autism Spectrum Disorders Service
As part of the development of its activities, the Autism Spectrum Disorders & Related (STSA) Service is looking for an assistant psychologist, at a rate of 80%–100%, from November 3, 2025 (or to be agreed), to strengthen the Mobile Mental Development Team for Minors (EMDM).
Context
CHUV is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in care, research, and training.
The STSA is a cantonal reference service supporting people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other neurodevelopmental disorders. It includes outpatient, hospital, regional, and mobile structures and is involved in clinical activities, training, and research.
The EMDM, attached to the Section of Mental Development Psychiatry (SPDM), is a multidisciplinary team that intervenes on request throughout the canton, in specialized structures or at home. It aims to support children with intellectual disabilities, ASD, and severe behavioral disorders, while supporting educational teams.
Mission
- You participate in the clinical activities of the EMDM
- You contribute to the psychological and developmental assessment of minors with ASD and intellectual disability
- You participate in team meetings, interdisciplinary colloquia, and internal training offered by the service
- You handle administrative activities related to your role
- You contribute to the clinical research program in the field of neurodevelopmental disorders.
Profile
- You hold a master’s degree in psychology and have clinical experience in the field of ASD or intellectual disability
- You are undergoing postgraduate training in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) with an organization recognized by the FSP
- You demonstrate a strong interest in the assessment and care of children with complex clinical profiles
- You have good interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team.
