Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Mobility | 40-60% | Chur
The Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Mobility (DIEM) includes the areas of energy, hydropower, natural hazards, public transport, civil engineering, procurement, forestry as well as hunting, large predators, and fisheries. It is divided into five offices as well as the departmental secretariat, which, as a central staff unit, comprehensively supports the head of the department in the professional and political management of the department.
We offer you an interesting, varied, and challenging area of responsibility at the interface between administration and politics. Due to maternity leave, we are looking for a lawyer starting November 1, 2025, or by agreement. The position is initially limited until May 31, 2026, with the prospect of extension or transfer to a permanent position.
Your area of responsibility
- Legal support of the matters assigned to the department in the areas of procurement and civil engineering in general and legal terms
- Contact person at the cantonal procurement competence center (support and advice for all public procurement offices in the canton of Graubünden; preparation of procurement bases, participation in training and further education)
- Drafting applications, orders, reports, and statements as well as drafts for parliamentary initiatives in the assigned areas
- Handling complaints and drafting legal documents for the courts
- Providing information and processing requests based on the cantonal Freedom of Information Act
- Situational support in cross-departmental projects
What we expect from you
- Completed law degree
- Professional experience in public administration, the judiciary, or legal practice
- Quick comprehension, confident appearance, resilience, teamwork skills as well as an initiative-taking, solution-oriented, and precise working style
- Flawless command of the German language is required. Knowledge of Italian and/or Romansh is desired.
