In your role as Head of Logistics, you ensure the smooth running of the daily business of the Warehouse / Loading department in Lyss. You will be supported by 1 team leader and 12 employees. Your main tasks include:

• Leading the area in terms of expertise and personnel
• Monitoring and optimizing warehouse processes regarding storage and storage locations
• Ensuring the readiness of employees, vehicles, operating facilities, equipment, and tools while considering optimal resource utilization
• Monitoring and implementing occupational safety and health protection
• Proactive and cooperative collaboration with production and other departments
• Responsibility for the budget and costs of the area
• Direct reporting to the site manager in Lyss
• Responsibility as a trainer for our logistics apprentices
• You are an experienced and skilled professional and leader in logistics with appropriate further training
• You have previously worked in a comparable role, preferably in the construction industry / industry
• You appreciate working independently under clear objectives, think networked and methodically, and like to get involved yourself
• You communicate appropriately at different levels and are assertive
• Ideally good knowledge of an ERP system (OPACC or similar)
• You communicate fluently in German and can handle common IT programs
