La Ruche
The Foundation of Child Life Centers « La Ruche » manages 6 childcare facilities caring for children from the end of maternity leave up to 4 years old (preschool) and from school entry up to 12 years old (after-school care).
To complete our kitchen teams, we are looking for:
Kitchen assistant at 50%
Working hours
Monday to Friday: from 7:30 am to 11:30 am
Main responsibilities
- Clean the usual kitchen dishes.
- Cut fruits and vegetables.
- Participate in the preparation (shaping) of homemade snacks.
- Make deliveries, with a van, of thermal boxes with preschool meals and boxes with after-school snacks.
- Collaborate in the follow-up of specific kitchen cleanings.
Experience
Cooking for children requires impeccable food service quality as well as respect for defined schedules. Therefore, experience in cooking in the early childhood sector or in the community sector would be a plus.
Specific skills
- You have a perfect command of the French language.
- You respect the equipment provided.
- You are committed to developing and maintaining quality interpersonal and professional relationships with all your contacts.
- You have a valid driving license.
Housekeeper
Working hours
Monday to Friday: from 7:30 am to 1:30 pm
Your mission will be to independently manage, in accordance with current hygiene rules, all housekeeping activities for this preschool facility which can accommodate up to 36 children per day. In this context, you will be responsible for the organizational logistics of all kitchen activities for this facility. Your tasks will specifically include setting and clearing tables before and after meal times (breakfasts, lunches, and snacks), preparing and organizing baby meals as well as snacks for older children, managing waste and laundry of the facility, as well as cleaning and storing equipment and spaces dedicated to these different activities. You will also be the contact person for the daily management of meals with our "meal" service providers.
Experience
Similar experience within a childcare facility required
Specific skills
- You hold a Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a Housekeeping Manager;
- You appreciate working autonomously in your professional activity;
- You have excellent organizational skills, good listening, observation, communication, and teamwork abilities;
- You are naturally open, energetic, and have a good sense of initiative;
- You are flexible and have a good capacity to adapt;
- You have excellent knowledge of the French language;
- You are committed to developing and maintaining quality interpersonal and professional relationships with all your contacts;
