What you will do here
- Design courses in various formats: from lectures and seminars to practical tutorials and skill trainings.
- Support students on their scientific journey: supervision of theses, participation in the Bachelor thesis module, and active involvement in the field of scientific work. Willingness to take on leadership tasks.
- Take on content and didactic responsibility: further develop modules, introduce innovative teaching concepts, and lead or actively shape internal projects if needed.
- Support and challenge students in a dynamic university environment and accompany them on their path to professional midwifery practice.
- Help shape the future of the midwifery profession: contribute to the development of the curriculum and study program and actively participate in positioning the profession within the healthcare system.
What you ideally bring with you
- Basic training as a midwife HF/FH with a Master of Science in midwifery, health sciences, or humanities, ideally with a doctorate.
- Degree in university didactics and several years of teaching experience.
- Extensive professional experience in clinical or non-clinical settings. Subject matter expert with a thematic focus. A "double competence profile" or mixed profile is desired: alongside teaching, a foothold in practice or an independent research project.
- Experience in scientific work and research and publication experience.
- High social competence that contributes to constructive teamwork and a trusting and appreciative teaching and working atmosphere.
