Our social assistance team provides personal and financial support as well as asylum care for people residing in Illnau-Effretikon. As of February 1, 2026, or by arrangement, we are looking for a service-oriented and committed individual as
YOUR TASKS IN THIS POSITION ARE:
- ensuring economic and personal social assistance based on the Social Assistance Act, SKOS guidelines, the Asylum Care Ordinance, and internal guidelines
- checking and calculating entitlements to financial benefits
- advising and supporting individuals and families with children in difficult situations
- planning and coordinating individual support and measures in the areas of education, health, or labor integration
- supporting social assistance recipients in asserting claims against social insurances and other third parties
- drafting benefit decisions
YOUR PROFILE FITS EXCELLENTLY IF YOU:
- have a degree as a social worker FH or an equivalent education with relevant professional experience in social assistance or asylum care.
- have good knowledge of the social security system and an interest in legal and financial issues.
- possess strong advisory skills, communication abilities, and a respectful attitude towards social assistance recipients.
- enjoy contributing to team structures and fostering our positive team culture.
- convince with an efficient and precise working style.
