Business Intelligence (BI) and Forecasting Specialist

About the job

• Research on economic, financial, and tax topics both in terms of content and available data
• Conducting mathematical/statistical analyses on economic, financial, and tax topics
• Development and management of a BI solution for the tax administration of the city of Bern
• Management and, if necessary, revision of the existing tax forecasting model
• Building and maintaining an interdisciplinary network with internal city experts

• Degree in business administration, economics, business informatics, mathematics, or comparable education
• Strong interest in developing BI solutions as well as research on economic, financial, and tax topics
• Independent, service- and solution-oriented working style, high social competence
• Several years of professional experience in a comparable role is an advantage
• Further training in BI or Data Science (e.g., Power BI, Python, R) is an advantage
