The Technical Vocational School Zurich TBZ is a competence center for basic and advanced training in the fields of automotive technology, information technology, electrical/electronics, event technology, and optometry.
Over 3600 learners are taught by around 160 teachers.
Your tasks
- Operation, maintenance, and further development of the Microsoft server and storage infrastructure (HPE, Hyper-V cluster, backup, Active Directory)
- Support of virtual server services (e.g., file storage, printing, software distribution, monitoring, user management)
- Administration of user accounts, security groups, and interfaces (Active Directory, Entra ID)
- Responsibility for the Microsoft 365 tenant (including Entra ID, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, etc.) as well as process automation with SharePoint and MS Power Platform in collaboration with external partners
- Operation and maintenance of the didactic network (LAN/WLAN)
- Project participation as well as support in operational business
- 2nd and 3rd level support as well as contact person for internal concerns and external partners
- Training and mentoring of learners in your own field
What we expect from you
- A completed IT education, ideally supplemented by further training at the HF level
- Several years of experience as an IT System Engineer with solid knowledge in server virtualization (Microsoft Hyper-V) and storage technologies (HPE)
- Profound experience with Microsoft technologies, especially M365 / Entra ID; Azure is an advantage
- Communicative, team-oriented, and solution-focused personality with very good German skills in spoken and written form
- Enjoyment of new developments and technologies as well as willingness for continuous further education
