As a subsidiary of the Lake Lucerne Navigation Company (SGV), Tavolago AG operates the gastronomy on all 5 steam and 14 motor ships of the SGV and also pampers our customers on land in several establishments as well as at catering events and large events with up to 5000 guests. Our land operations include LUZ Seebistro, Wirtshaus Taube, CHÄRNSMATT – Inn & Play Paradise, and the Grillrestaurant Ampersand. We are also the gastro partner of the Pilatus Arena and the Lucerne Fair.
Head of Land Gastronomy / Member of the Executive Board

We are looking for a new executive board member as Head of Land Gastronomy (a), 100%, starting November 1, 2025 or by arrangement
Here is what you will do
- You take on the strategic and operational responsibility for "Land Gastronomy" with 9 restaurants, hotels, and catering locations.
- As a member of the executive board, you are a face of our company and represent us externally.
- You directly lead 6 department heads. Indirectly, you are responsible for over 100 employees.
- You bear the overall financial responsibility for your business area and do everything to achieve the medium- and long-term goals.
- You oversee the personnel planning of your business area, coach and develop especially managers but also employees.
- You monitor the offer and pricing and guarantee the high quality of all services – also thanks to regular on-site visits.
- You ensure smooth communication and cooperation with all internal and external interfaces and engage in the industry.
What we expect from you
- You have a hotel management school degree or an equivalent qualification.
- Your main residence is in Central Switzerland – you know the area well and are well connected.
- You bring many years of solid experience in Swiss gastronomy, know trends, and have already implemented new openings.
- You have several years of group management and multi-unit leadership experience and have already been responsible for a business area.
- You speak fluent German and English; any additional language is a plus.
- You are very strong organizationally, radiate a certain seniority, and make solid decisions even in hectic moments.
- You bring very good administrative and business management knowledge and can apply it ideally.
- You identify with the corporate values of Tavolago AG, live them, and represent them externally.
- You enjoy irregular but often self-determined working hours but are also aware of presence times in the evening and on weekends.
