About the job

• Responsibility for the Master Design program and its strategic-content development as well as active networking and cooperation with private and public institutions
• Personnel management and administrative leadership
• Responsibility for the finances of the study program
• Student recruitment in collaboration with the Marketing & Communication department
• Collaboration with study programs and courses of the Department of Design Film Art
• Networking of research activities with education
• Participation in the further development of the department
• Supervision of student project and bachelor theses

• Profound knowledge and experience in the addressed professional and knowledge fields
• Practical proof of performance in the field of design
• Very good networking with relevant scenes and important industries, especially at the national level
• University degree at master’s level in the subject area; doctorate is an advantage
• Leadership experience
• Experience with process design and administration in the complex field of a university organization is desired
• Experience in curriculum development
• Interest in inter- and transdisciplinary collaboration with other study programs
• Very good knowledge of German and English
• Cooperative and empathetic personality
• Qualification in university didactics is an advantage or to be obtained within two years
• You are sensitive to issues of diversity, equality, and inclusion
