Application Manager GIS (m/f/d) 80–100%

Your Tasks

  • Ensuring the availability and operation of the GIS application
  • Ensuring data quality through appropriate testing procedures as well as transparent and secure data management
  • Administration and further development of the GIS
  • Preparation, analysis, and legally compliant submission of geodata to internal and external bodies (including first-level support for Web-GIS)
  • Creation, maintenance, and updating of utility documentation in the GIS and technical documentation
  • Support in the training of geomatics apprentices
  • Participation in specialist projects for new GIS-, GeoBIM-, as well as special software and hardware solutions

Your Qualities

  • Completed professional examination or university degree in geomatics, computer science, or a related field
  • Several years of professional experience in the relevant field
  • Ideally experience with ETL methods, knowledge of the energy sector, and experience in partial or project management
  • In-depth knowledge of geographic information systems, FME, and strong IT affinity
  • Very good knowledge in data management and ensuring data quality
  • Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style as well as teamwork skills
