Your new role
As an ICT System Administrator, you are responsible for troubleshooting and technical support in vehicles and operational infrastructure (bus depot, workshops, charging and ICT infrastructure). Furthermore, you carry out electrotechnical work on vehicles as well as on building technology systems. In addition, you take on conversion and retrofit work on vehicle components and ICT systems and are responsible for the complete ICT, communication, and passenger information systems in the areas of support, maintenance, and further development of the vehicles. Close cooperation with external ICT partners plays an important role in this function, and you accompany the interfaces in various projects. Besides your technical tasks, you create documentation, instructions, and work processes and continuously optimize them.
This position is for you if
- You have strong teamwork skills and a reliable working style as well as the willingness to take on responsibility.
- You have completed training as an automation technician, automotive electrician, or similar, ideally with further education at the HF or FH level.
- You can demonstrate several years of professional experience in system technology, network technology, or similar technical fields; experience in vehicle technology is an advantage.
- You possess very good knowledge of IP-based networks (switches, routers, diagnostics, and other IT components).
- You have pronounced skills in troubleshooting, analysis, and independent fault resolution.
- You enjoy interdisciplinary work at the interface of electronics, IT, and vehicle technology.
