Okay, we admit it: None of these titles is entirely correct – but not entirely wrong either. As
you will take over the infrastructural and technical building management of two school locations and several kindergartens.
🛠️ Your main tasks:
- Team leadership: Direct supervisor of three employees in the building services/technology area, responsible for about twelve cleaning staff as well as practical trainer of an apprentice / a trainee in facility management
- Buildings & safety: Ensuring hygiene and safety standards, organizing and carrying out repairs, maintenance of furniture, participation in smaller projects, conversions and renovations as well as taking on the role of BESIBE
- Events: Operation of the multipurpose hall including event support and technical assistance
- Budget & resources: Annual maintenance planning, budgeting of furniture (in cooperation with school management), procurement of materials as well as management of the equipment park and inventory
🧑🎓 What you bring:
- Janitor with a federal certificate of competence
- Organizational talent, leadership experience and good IT skills
- Enjoyment in contact with people
- Driver’s license category B
- Willingness to work regular evening and weekend shifts as well as on-call duty with 30-minute reaction time
