Head of Information System and IT Projects at DFME
The Women-Mother-Child Department (DFME) is looking for its head of information system and IT projects at a workload between 80% and 100%, to strengthen its team. The starting date is scheduled for June 1, 2026, or to be agreed upon.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Women-Mother-Child Department (DFME) brings together the Gynecology, Obstetrics, Neonatology, Pediatrics, and Child and Adolescent Surgery Services. More than 1,500 professionals work within this department. We care for women throughout their lives in gynecological, obstetrical, and psychosocial aspects, as well as children from birth to adolescence.
Mission
- You are responsible for steering the alignment of the department's information system (I.S.) according to the strategic orientations of DFME and CHUV
- You ensure the compliance, overall coherence, relevance, and performance of the department's I.S.
- You ensure optimal management of resources and infrastructures
- You are responsible for maintaining and improving the department's I.S. to increase the quality of delivered services.
Profile
- You hold a university degree, from a university of applied sciences or a federal polytechnic school
- You are ideally specialized in information systems (MSc UNIL/HES, MAS, etc.)
- You are trained in project management and have so far demonstrated these skills in significant IT projects in the IS field (at least 5 years of experience)
- You have ideally followed training in health management as well as team management
- You have significant experience in the hospital environment
- You have a developed sense of priority management that allows you to execute assigned tasks with rigor, precision, and reliability
- You have excellent listening, communication, and negotiation skills and enjoy working both in a team and independently
- You are recognized for your rigor and synthesis ability, and you are committed to producing clear and accessible documentation
- You have excellent organizational skills, analytical capacity, and critical thinking.
