The Cantonal Building Office Thurgau is responsible for the strategic planning, new construction and renovations, and operation of real estate that the canton needs to fulfill its tasks. It does this exemplary and makes an important contribution to the building culture of the canton.
For the Real Estate Department, we are looking for a caretaker and safety officer immediately or by arrangement
Your areas of responsibility
As a caretaker and safety officer, you are the central contact point for internal and external concerns in our administrative buildings. Core tasks include monitoring, maintenance, and upkeep of the technical building infrastructure as well as performing the function of safety officer. You ensure that the properties assigned to you have a well-maintained appearance and that the applicable safety regulations are implemented and adhered to.
Your profile
You have training as a caretaker with a federal certificate of competence, a specialist in operational maintenance with experience in the real estate industry, or you have a basic craft or technical education in the fields of sanitation, electrical, or carpentry. In addition, you have knowledge of locking systems and building control systems and know how to optimize technical systems. Training as a safety officer (SIBE) or as an EKAS safety officer is desirable. A confident and courteous manner characterizes you as well as good oral and written expression in the German language.
