The EOC, the multisite hospital of Ticino, is present with its institutes throughout the entire cantonal territory for a total of 1,000 beds. The organization effectively combines a local approach with an overall vision, guaranteeing the population a comprehensive and nearby hospital service, regardless of where the services are requested.
Thanks to the commitment and competence of over 6,500 collaborators and their attention to human relations, the EOC ensures quality healthcare by caring for over 41,000 inpatients annually and providing over 600,000 outpatient consultations.
To complete the team of the Domestic Economy service of the Cardiocentro Ticino Institute in Lugano, we are looking for
Domestic Economy Employees (80-100%)
Profile:
The future collaborator performs, in compliance with defined work programs and procedures (times, methods, materials, equipment), all operational activities of the sector aimed at ensuring both compliance with the required hygiene and cleaning conditions and an accurate and quality service.
Possessing functional and technical skills, they are able to manage significant workloads and dedicate themselves to meeting the expectations and requests of internal and external clients with a great spirit of collaboration. They maintain good relationships with people from different backgrounds.
Necessary requirements:
- proven professional experience gained in the socio-health sector (hospital, clinic, nursing home) or in hotel facilities;
- familiarity with ordinary and extraordinary company cleaning using cleaning machines;
- federal certificate of capacity as a domestic economy employee or operator for ordinary and maintenance cleaning is a preferred qualification;
- availability for shift work (including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays) with flexible hours (particularly availability for evening hours);
- orientation towards change and development;
- excellent knowledge of the Italian language;
- knowledge of common computer tools.
