We offer a teaching assignment for a full school year in the subjects German, Mathematics, and General Education.
Start: approx. from March 2026, by arrangement
Course location: Zurich
Course times: Monday to Friday, 08:50 AM - 12:30 PM
Lessons: approx. 760 lessons of 45 minutes each
Course description:
- You will train and support young refugees (16-25 years old) during a school year and prepare them for the regular structures of upper secondary education.
- You will teach the subjects German, Mathematics, General Education, and impart PC skills.
- You promote and teach learning strategies and techniques.
Number of participants: max. 16 persons
Requirements for the teacher:
- Training as a teacher at primary or lower/upper secondary level or equivalent qualification
- Additional qualification in the area of German as a second language (DaZ) (fide, EUROLTA or equivalent)
- Knowledge and experience in competence-oriented and adult-appropriate didactics
- You are familiar with labor market and career preparation
- You have experience teaching the target group
- You are a assertive personality with high social competence
