About the Position
As the team leader of the "Test Engineers" group in the Baden High-Performance Laboratory, you take responsibility for the planning, preparation, and execution of switching power and short-circuit tests on AIS and GIS high-voltage switchgear (development and type tests). You ensure the precise recording and evaluation of measurement data as well as the conscientious documentation of test results. Furthermore, you contribute to the continuous development of test processes, measurement methods, and system components to sustainably strengthen the laboratory's innovative power.

Technical leadership and further development of the team of test engineers in the high-performance laboratory
Optimization of resource use and ensuring the qualification of all team members
Planning and coordination of test orders as well as allocation of personnel and equipment
Monitoring the timely execution of all tests as well as preparation of offers and service billing
Ensuring compliance with relevant standards, quality standards, and HSE regulations
Continuous improvement of test processes, systems, and measurement equipment (CIP)
Open and transparent communication with internal teams, departments, and customers
Preparation of test reports and maintenance of relevant databases
Support in test operations as well as in the care of external customers
What you bring with you
Completed studies in electrical engineering or energy technology
Several years of experience in testing or measurement technology, ideally in a high-performance or high-voltage laboratory
Sound knowledge of relevant standards, test procedures, and safety regulations
Leadership experience as well as organizational and coordination skills
Strong communication skills and confident demeanor towards customers and interfaces
Sense of responsibility, analytical thinking, and decisiveness
Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
Experience in preparing technical reports and documentation
