The EFAJE is a network that brings together 31 municipalities from the Gros-de-Vaud district and surrounding areas wishing to unite their efforts to manage and develop quality day care services in order to better meet the needs of their citizens. To date, three sectors are represented: Family day care, which includes about seventy family caregivers, eight preschool structures, and nineteen after-school structures.
We are looking, for an indefinite period, for a:
Childcare Educator ES/HES or Socio-Educational Assistant at 60% annualized over 4 days (reference 26.1 MOR)
The workplace is located at the UAPE of Morrens, a structure with a capacity of 36 places. The working days are distributed as follows: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (excluding school holidays).
Your missions:
- Ensure quality support for the children received, guaranteeing their well-being and safety in compliance with the institutional project and current regulations.
- Identify quality-related issues based on your theoretical knowledge. Propose courses of action and implement them in the interest of the child.
- Foster quality relationships and exchanges with children, families, colleagues, and external services.
Your profile:
You have the ability to develop reflective action on quality issues and to carry out relevant actions, deployed responsibly, autonomously, and reliably in your activity. Equipped with a good team spirit and mutual support, your communication skills and initiative-taking, your dynamism, interpersonal ease, and versatility make you a real asset to the team. Experience in UAPE would be a real advantage for this position. You are Swiss or hold a valid residence permit and have a clean criminal record.
