The Sports Office of the City of Winterthur offers a flexible individual an interesting position as a temporary cashier at the Deutweg ice sports facility starting October 1, 2025, or by arrangement. Work shifts are arranged (Monday to Sunday). During the winter season from October to March, shifts mainly take place on weekends and evenings, as well as for holiday and sick leave cover. Working hours vary between 08:30 AM and 12:00 AM.

Your Tasks

Sale of admission tickets as well as cash management and accounting

Advising customers about the offerings at the municipal sports facilities

Rental and maintenance of ice skating equipment

Operating the telephone switchboard and accepting and coordinating school class and group reservations

First aid service and assistance in cleaning

Your Profile

Professional experience at the cash register or in sales

Strong service orientation as well as independent and reliable work style

Team player, enjoys dealing with a diverse clientele

Completed first aid and CPR course

Good MS Office skills and fluent German in spoken and written form

Willingness to work irregular hours and weekends
