A cook, 70% workload (limited for 2 years)

At the Foundation for Speech Therapy Schools in the Canton of Zurich, children with specific speech development disorders are educated and supported in a day special school by an interdisciplinary team.

For the Speech Therapy School Stäfa, we are looking for a cook starting January 1, 2026, or by arrangement

a cook, 70% workload (limited for 2 years)

Your tasks….

• Independent management of the kitchen
• Preparation of meals for about 85 children and adults according to the nutrition concept
• Planning and execution of special events
• Handling of tasks such as menu planning, purchasing, orders, and
• goods control
• Budget and expense control
• Control and monitoring of inventory
• Compliance with quality and hygiene standards as well as food regulations
• Cleaning of work surfaces and kitchen equipment
• Maintenance and upkeep of machines and equipment, coordination of necessary service work with the responsible companies

You have...

• training as a cook EFZ with several years of experience
• Good German skills in spoken and written form
• Computer skills
• Enjoy contact with other employees and children
• a high awareness of quality and willingness to perform
• knowledge of various diets and intolerances
• a reliable working method
