The bank-regulated SIX SIS AG works worldwide with various counterparties to offer a high-quality securities service for its participating banks. The Reconciliation team ensures that the securities and cash balances held externally on behalf of SIX SIS always match the internal postings. Any discrepancies are proactively clarified and monitored with the internal departments.
As the central securities depository for the Swiss market, we operate the so-called "Fort Knox of Switzerland" in Olten. The control of the securities holdings physically stored there is also ensured by the Reconciliation team.
These are your tasks
- Continuous reconciliation of external accounts and custodial accounts with our business partners and transfer agents
- Effective and comprehensive monitoring of pending securities and cash positions using the corresponding IT systems
- Regular and appropriate escalation of pending issues to the operational units
- Optimal support of the operational units in clearing pending issues and minimizing risks
What you bring with you
- Completed education in business administration, banking, or finance
- 2 - 4 years of experience in operational securities processing in the banking industry or in reconciliation
- High initiative, independence, and flexibility as well as a strong quality awareness
- Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
- Good German and English skills, both spoken and written
