You support the supervision of the Swiss financial market by processing, analyzing, and visualizing data and further developing existing methods. This is especially done using innovative methods and technologies.
Main tasks
- Data analysis, preparation, and reporting
- Collaboration in the Data Innovation Lab, applying machine learning methods such as natural language processing
- Further development of tools for data analysis and reporting
- Methodological advancement of supervised rating systems
- Provision of data as well as the use and development of processing tools in coordination with the IT department
- Collection and prioritization of data requirements from internal stakeholders
- Project work and support of specialist topics
Profile
- Master's degree in data science, mathematics, or a science with a tradition of data use
- Solid knowledge of statistical methods and machine learning methodologies, as well as databases, SQL, and programming languages in data analysis, e.g., Python or R
- Several years of experience in data processing and analysis as well as in preparing and reporting results
- Experience in the financial industry is an advantage
- High methodological competence and implementation strength, networked thinking as well as reliable, systematic, and independent working style
- Strong initiative and creativity as well as enjoyment of teamwork
- Flawless written and spoken expression in German or French (C2) and very good knowledge of the other language as well as English (B2).
