Job Description
We are seeking a passionate Hybrid Cloud Engineer with a strong VMware background to join our dynamic infrastructure team. If you thrive on driving innovation and have a burning passion for VMware, this role is for you.
Our infrastructure team is dedicated to integrating data into our Azure cloud environment while supporting legacy infrastructure on-premises, based on VMware servers and Active Directory.
In this role you will…

Be the main responsible for the internal VMware environment;

Implement hybrid IT solutions by integrating various cloud services with traditional data center services;

Migrate legacy applications to public cloud services;

Automate infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code and configuration management;

Improve and streamline processes and procedures;

Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure cloud-native workloads are deployed according to best practices for security, governance, identity and access management, and monitoring;

Mentor existing staff on cloud computing best practices and technology to drive cloud adoption.
Requirements

You have a vast experience in managing and maintaining ESXi environments based on VMware;
-
You bring a broad skill set in infrastructure, particularly with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Entra;

Besides Scripting you also have first Cloud platform experience (preferably with Microsoft Azure);

You are proactive, ambitious and eager to learn;
-
For you it’s given to respond to technical issues professionally and promptly;

In the past you already proofed your integration skills and built up experience to ensure interoperability of new and existing systems;

Experience with infrastructure-as-code (preferably with Terraform) and CI/CD workflows and Git is a plus.
