With nearly 1,400 employees, the Department of Rehabilitation and Geriatrics is a medical center focused on the elderly and is spread across 5 sites: Trois-Chêne, Loëx, Bellerive, Beau-Séjour, and Joli-Mont. It manages acute situations, notably through the emergency services of the Trois-Chêne hospital, age-related specific problems, medical rehabilitation, and palliative care.
The Memory Center is located in Cluse-Roseraie and addresses the multiple challenges posed by memory disorders. It offers diagnosis based on state-of-the-art techniques, multidisciplinary care, and individualized therapies. Patients can participate in research projects and test new medications.
Job Description
Do you want to participate in the practical application of research on Alzheimer’s disease and collaborate with recognized specialists in this field?
The Memory Center is looking for an internal physician to strengthen its dynamic team. You will participate in the clinical and research activities of the Center and contribute to ensuring the quality of medical services.
Under the supervision of the senior physician, you will perform diagnostic assessments, medical follow-up visits, and technical procedures such as lumbar punctures.
Supervised by a senior researcher, you will participate in the recruitment, assessments, and clinical follow-ups of patients and volunteers involved in therapeutic trials and observational studies conducted at the Memory Center.
You will be involved in team meetings, case presentations at the Memory Board, and participation in conferences and seminars organized by the Center and the Department of Rehabilitation and Geriatrics.
In collaboration with research teams, you will support and supervise Master’s students or clinical interns within the Center.
Qualifications
You hold a federal medical diploma or have training deemed equivalent by the Medical Professions Commission of the Federal Office of Public Health (MEBEKO recognition).
For non-French speakers, a C1 level in spoken and written French is required.
A C1 level in English is desirable.
Your excellent communication skills allow you to interact within a multidisciplinary team and with patients. You are autonomous, flexible, and demonstrate commitment.
