In the interest of employees and companies, the Office for Labor (AFA) contributes to strengthening the location Zurich. The labor market policy competencies are bundled in the AFA. Around 650 employees work at more than 20 locations. The Unemployment Fund (ALK) is a service organization of the Office for Labor (AFA). The ALK's mandate is to clarify entitlement as well as to calculate and pay benefits of the unemployment insurance (ALV).
To strengthen the existing Quality and Process Management (QPM) team at the headquarters in Winterthur, we are looking for a committed specialist to start immediately or by arrangement.
Your tasks:
- Benefit verification and calculation of unemployment compensation in case of doubts about claims from employment contracts (Art. 29 AVIG)
- Professional support: advice and support for internal and external stakeholders
- IKS: conducting random checks of all types of benefits
- Handling suspected cases of undeclared work (BGSA)
- Knowledge management: building, maintaining, and making professional knowledge available
- Participation in the further development of benefit processes
- Supervision, further development of employees
- Analysis of systemic or professional problem areas
- Creation of tools for general process optimization
- Participation in projects
Your profile:
- Completed 3-year commercial basic training or an equivalent commercial education
- Many years of professional experience in AVIG enforcement
- Completed further training as a social insurance specialist or willingness to complete it promptly
- Process-oriented, efficient, decisive, and a pronounced flair for numbers
- Excellent communication skills, good presentation skills, and didactic experience
- Strong team skills
- Confident and networked thinking as well as pronounced perseverance in handling complex case constellations
- Curious about legal issues and open to new things
