In Equity Brokerage, we are looking for an experienced leader who shares our vision and will help shape the future together with us for our dynamic and ambitious Equity Sales team. Our team stands for excellent customer service, innovative approaches, and solid expertise in the field of stock markets and securities business.
As Head Equity Sales, you take on the strategic and operational responsibility for our Equity Sales team. You play a key role in expanding our market position, strengthening relationships with institutional clients, and continuously developing our offerings. You bring your expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership qualities to inspire both our team and our clients alike.
Your Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy to increase market share and revenues in the equity sector, focusing on research contracts, corporate access, sales newsletters, and other sales activities
- Professional and personnel leadership as well as further development of the Equity Sales team
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with institutional clients such as asset managers, insurance companies, pension funds, and DAC as well as external asset managers and family offices
- Managing our key clients and ensuring high customer satisfaction
- Analyzing market activities, competitors, and relevant KPIs to identify growth opportunities
- Preparing forecasts, managing the sales budget, and being responsible for achieving company goals
Your Profile
- Completed studies in economics, finance, or a comparable field; a commercial apprenticeship with corresponding further education HF or HFW is also welcome. Additional qualifications such as CIIA or CFA are an advantage
- At least 5 years of experience in sales and team leadership, ideally in investment banking, equity trading, or a comparable field
- Solid understanding of stock markets, financial products, and their technical specifications
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, combined with the ability to clearly and convincingly convey complex matters
- Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies as well as successfully converting leads and conducting outreach activities
- Data-driven thinking and acting to optimize sales processes and decision-making
- Strong networking skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Proactive and creative approach to finding innovative solutions and ways to achieve goals
