The Private Banking business unit is responsible for the care and advice of private clients domestically and abroad (from CHF 1 million in assets). Regulatory requirements in the financial industry are continuously increasing and becoming more complex. Mastery of compliance and operational business risks is essential for a sustainable and successful business model. The expansion of a newly established, efficient Business Risk team aims to further strengthen the management of these Non-Financial Risks (NFR) directly at the General Management level in the 1st Line of Defense.

Your tasks
- Execution of control activities in the area of compliance risks and operational risks, risk pattern recognition, and further development of the control framework
- Consulting and supporting sales in identifying, assessing, and handling risks as well as in managing and designing mitigation measures
- Contact person for sales and other internal stakeholders on professional NFR issues
- Support and implementation of measures for training and raising awareness of sales regarding risk management practices and processes
- Preparation of risk reports and presentations for senior management
- Conducting thematic reviews to identify systematic risks
Your profile
- University degree (university/FH or other technical school), ideally with a specialization in economics, banking, compliance, and/or law
- Experience in the banking industry in identifying, assessing, treating, and monitoring non-financial risks (e.g., risks in the areas of money laundering, sanctions, corruption, internal and external offenses, as well as other compliance and operational risks)
- Experience in consulting and supporting private clients is an additional advantage
- Strong analytical skills and a pronounced sense and awareness of risk issues
- Conceptual skills that can be profitably applied to the further development of control measures
- You are cooperative and communicative to develop solutions in constructive dialogue beyond various specialist departments
