Polymechanic (Toolmaker)
Activities
- Independent manufacturing of punching and forming tools
- Carrying out maintenance work
- Manufacturing spare parts / turning, milling, drilling, and grinding (conventional)
- Processing optimizations and repairs on existing or new tools
- Collaboration and development of new tools
- Experience in design / CAD knowledge is an advantage (Fusion 360) Operating the CNC EDM machine is an advantage Operating and setting up CNC milling machines with Heidenhain control
Requirements
- Completed apprenticeship as a toolmaker or polymechanic EFZ
- At least 5 years of professional experience as a toolmaker or comparable activity
- Manual dexterity
- Responsible and team-oriented
- Independent and very precise working method
