The Energy Solutions Department develops comprehensive offers combining consulting, design, execution, maintenance, and operation. It is also the single point of entry for major projects, energy efficiency and automation, electrical engineering, facility management, and innovation.
Following a retirement, we are looking for our future colleague.
Mission:
- Define and implement the strategy of the Electrical Engineering Unit, in partnership with management, to ensure the overall performance of the activity;
- Supervise the entire portfolio of engineering projects in Switzerland and abroad: planning, execution, respect of deadlines, budget, and technical requirements;
- Lead and support project teams by setting clear objectives, ensuring coordination, communication, and monitoring of activities carried out;
- Develop activities related to the professions: seek new markets, negotiate contracts, and actively participate in internal and external mandates;
- Manage the financial aspects of the unit: budget preparation, variance analysis, implementation of corrective measures, and pursuit of performance and profitability;
- Supervise and develop employees by fostering a spirit of cooperation, ensuring their professional growth, and embodying change-oriented leadership;
Profile:
- Graduate engineer EPFL or HES complemented by business management training;
- Proven experience (approx. 10 years) in a complex technical environment, with mastery of project management and associated processes;
- Strong commercial and managerial skills combined with an excellent understanding of the energy sector and its challenges;
- Very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP tools;
- Autonomous, structured, and communicative personality, able to work under pressure, adapt to change, and unite teams around common goals;
