As Head of Quality & Compliance (m/f/d), you will take on a central role in building and further developing our quality and compliance structures and ensure that our products and processes meet the highest regulatory and quality requirements.

Head of Quality & Compliance (m/f/d)

Your challenge:

• Management of quality management
• Quality assurance, documentation, and release of THC products for the Swiss cannabis pilot projects
• Preparation of product documentation, e.g., Safety Data Sheet (SDS), Specification Sheet (SPEC), and Certificate of Analysis (CoA)
• Quality assurance and release of CBD products under tobacco substitute, food, and chemical law
• Creation, optimization/adaptation, and release of the existing QM system and QM-relevant documents, including employee training
• QM support for product developments and production campaigns (internal and external) as well as associated product registrations
• Control over compliance with the hygiene and safety concept according to HACCP and ASA
• Conducting internal audits for the further development of the QM system (ISO9001) + GACP
• Optimization of processes at the interfaces between production, QM, and QC analytics
• Creation of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for both CBD and THC pilot projects

Your qualifications:

• Completed vocational training or degree related to food, dietary supplements, plant science, biotechnology, tobacco substitutes, and pharmaceuticals
• Several years of experience in quality management under ISO9001 and GMP in the above-mentioned industries
• Proven long-term experience in holistic responsibility and management of compliance topics as well as in leadership roles
• Experience in optimizing internal processes through continuous improvement process (CIP)
• Prior knowledge in regulatory affairs in food, dietary supplements, and/or tobacco substitutes is desirable
• Prior knowledge in QM and regulatory affairs specifically for CBD products is a plus
• Impeccable reputation
• Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
