To complete its team, the Clinical Pharmacology Service is looking for an assistant physician
at 80% - 100%.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, the CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Clinical Pharmacology Service of the CHUV is dedicated to therapeutic optimizations related to medications. Its hospital-university vocation involves 3 main missions: clinical services, teaching, and research, focused on the rational use of pharmacotherapy.
The TDM (Therapeutic Drug Monitoring) activity includes the analysis and clinical interpretation of drug concentrations for about 70 molecules, making Lausanne one of the recognized centers worldwide and the most important in Switzerland for TDM.
Mission
- You will work as an assistant physician within the Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (TDM) Center of the Clinical Pharmacology Service
- You support drug prescription by performing the clinical interpretation of assay results, in close collaboration with prescribers internal and external to the CHUV
- You play an active role in assisting drug prescription during patient care and respond to clinical questions related to medications
- You conduct clinical pharmacology consultations.
Profile
- You hold the Swiss federal medical diploma or a title recognized by the Federal Commission of Medical Professions (MEBEKO) and have at least 2 years of experience in internal medicine
- You master French both orally and in writing (certified B2 level, C1 level desired)
- You are autonomous, flexible, and dynamic
- Your excellent communication skills allow you to easily integrate into a team and interact smoothly with various interlocutors
- You wish to deepen your knowledge in the specialty of pharmacology, particularly in the activity of therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM).
