For the Construction Trades Department at Kirchgasse 15 in St.Gallen, we are looking for a
Teacher for Vocational Studies in Metal Construction (m/f/d) starting August 1, 2026
Workload: 5 weekly lessons
Workplace: St.Gallen
What to expect
- Vocational studies teaching for metalworker EFZ and metal construction practitioner EBA
- Fulfillment of the professional mandate for teachers at vocational schools
- Active participation in the subject area, department, and school
What distinguishes you
- Initiative, flexible, and open to new developments
- Communicative personality with strong social skills
- Exemplary demeanor and enjoyment in working with learners and teaching
- Professional examination in metal construction production and assembly manager, advanced professional examination (HFP) metal construction master, or certified technician HF metal construction
- At least 2 years of professional experience after completing higher vocational training
- Teaching experience desired but not required
- ICT skills for digital teaching design, methodological-didactic further training or willingness to acquire it (certificate program at the University of Teacher Education)
