The Secondary School and Vocational Education Office (MBA) is the competence and service center for vocational education, high schools, higher vocational education, and continuing education in the canton of Zurich. We support and supervise secondary schools, vocational schools, providers of preparatory vocational years, and training companies. The Digital Service Center Sek II provides services in this environment to support administrative and pedagogical-didactic processes for around 60,000 users in over 40 cantonal schools. We are looking immediately or by arrangement for an employee in the Application Service area as HR Manager, team leader with a workload of 80-100%.

Your area of responsibility

• Personnel team leadership (approx. 7 people) and deputy department management
• Close cooperation with the application managers, who take over the professional leadership of their respective employees
• Support in application management of the application managers
• Coordination of cross-departmental workflows
• Identification of strengths and weaknesses of team members, support in development, promotion of potentials
• Change management within the department, anchoring values
• Recruitment of new employees.
• Definition and communication of goals as well as promotion of effective collaboration in the department
• Organizational support of department management in project and development work

Your profile

• Education in computer science or information technologies HF, FH or equivalent education
• Further training and experience in personnel management and coaching
• Experience in application management and project work
• Independent, qualitative, structured and customer-oriented working style
• Communication talent
• Knowledge of processes and workflows in the ITSM environment is an advantage
• Experience in project work methods (e.g. HERMES)
• Knowledge of processes in secondary education (SekII) is an advantage.
