Professor Implementation and Quality Development of Socio-Emotional and Psychomotor Developmental Support in Practice 80 – 100%
For the Institute for Behavior, Socio-Emotional and Psychomotor Developmental Support, we are looking for a committed personality as of September 1, 2026, or by agreement, for the strategic teaching, research, and development field "Implementation and Quality Development of Socio-Emotional and Psychomotor Developmental Support in Practice."
This strategic teaching, research, and development area focuses on the evidence-based implementation of developmental support offers in everyday school and therapeutic settings. It plays a key and bridging role by transferring scientific findings into sustainable practice and supporting and accompanying schools and institutions in the introduction, adaptation, and evaluation of effective models.
- Establishment and further development of the teaching, research, and development field
- Comprehensive responsibility in the teaching, research, and development field in the fourfold mandate (education, further education, research & development, and services)
- Professional supervision of project teams and promotion of young scientists
- Dissemination in scientific publications, at expert committees, conferences, and in the scientific community
- Professional contribution to the implementation of the overall strategy of the HfH
- Bringing in your expertise in the further development of the institute, in committees and working groups
- Visible positioning of the HfH in professional debates as well as in national and international networks
- Taking responsibility in the further development of the institute
- PhD in special and remedial education, educational sciences, or social sciences, teaching diploma
- Comprehensive expertise in socio-emotional development, combined with a broad overview of related disciplines
- Proven knowledge of the Swiss education system and good networking
- Experience in the conception and management of research and service projects
- Proven expertise in scientific publishing and third-party funding acquisition
- High didactic competence in university teaching
- Leadership, communication, and cooperation skills
